INTIMACY COORDINATOR
Dana is a Certified Intimacy Coordinator with Intimacy Professionals Association (IPA). In addition to her 2020 certification, she has also completed workshop trainings on disability awareness for filmmakers, LGBTQIA+ allyship for actors on set, and has received her Safe Sets COVID-19 A+B Certificates.
The work of an intimacy coordinator is similar to the work of a stunt coordinator-facilitating clear communication between all parties to prioritize safety while also working with production to realize the creative vision - ultimately creating scenes that are authentic and believable.
This role strives to answer the call to the #MeToo and #TimesUp movement to be an advocate and an ally for both cast and crew on set.

Adhere to proper protocols to ensure safety and sexual health of actors including closed sets, modesty garments, and SAG-AFTRA nudity guidelines are followed
Serve as an advocate and ally for LGBTQIA+ cast members
Coordinate with costume, makeup and wardrobe departments for pre-production and shoot day
